It leaked all over my workout bag. The product is extremely low quality—the body of the bottle and the cap feel cheaply made. The first time I used it, it leaked all over my clothes and gym bag, creating a huge mess.Even though the price is affordable, it’s definitely not worth it. I like the color buy does not work and mix the protein properly. Also it smells very bad compared to to my other plastic shakers even with wash. You are far better with something with shaker ball than this, plus it’s not easy to use and hold the shaker while shaking.

This is a quiet shaker for protein and fiber and liquid vitamins and collagen and creatine and pre-workout. Thus, it is not so disruptive at the gym. The plastic is harder and thinner than traditional plastic shakers; it is more rigid so I think a drop on the concrete MAY crack the shaker's body. Although, I have not tested this assumption. The lid is plastic and shuts well enough, yet I always place my index finger over every shaker I have to ensure a seal and prevent accidents. Lid also has a plastic U shaped swivel hanger for finger carrying or hanging. It is a good physics at work mixing the contents without a disruptive clanking ball. It is a fair price point. There are oz and ml marker on the side. It holds approx. 20 oz or 600 ml.

This shaker bottle works better than my bottles with both the metal and plastic whisk balls AND my rechargeable electric Brookstone blender. It's so much easier to clean, too! It rinses clean without any manual scrubbing as long as I rinse it out before any of the leftover beverage on the sides starts to dry up. I haven't washed it in my dishwasher yet so I can't speak to that aspect. The lid easily screws onto the bottle and doesn't leak. I've used this bottle almost daily for the last two months and only occasionally do I get a clump of Kachava that hasn't mixed up and dissolved. I've found the best way to avoid clumps and undissolved powder stuck to the sides is to first fill the bottle about 1/3 with water, add your powder mix, fill it with water the rest of the way, close it up tight, and shake. I plan on getting at least one more as backup for those days when I didn't get it rinsed out soon enough and am too lazy to clean it properly.

The Vortex Protein Shaker Bottle is a solid choice if you’re looking for a simple, no-fuss way to mix your protein shakes or smoothies. It holds a good amount of liquid (24 oz), and I like that it doesn’t use one of those metal mixing balls—it still mixes about the same without it, which is nice. That said, I did still have a few lumps in my drink, but that’s pretty normal for me. Even when I use a milk frother, my protein powder doesn’t fully dissolve. The only thing that really makes it smooth is a blender. So, while this bottle works fine, it’s not going to give you a totally smooth shake if your powder tends to clump. What I liked:Big size, holds plenty of liquidNo metal ball to cleanDoesn’t leakFeels sturdy and well madeWhat could be better:Still got some lumpsDoesn’t really mix better than the bottles with the ballOverall, it’s a good bottle that gets the job done. Not a miracle worker, but definitely a handy addition to your gym bag.

Good shaker. Mixes protein shakes well. Base is too large to grip comfortably for me. My hands aren't tiny.

It's different than my blender bottle.. and kinda bulky and wierd shaped, but it is very durable and locks tight. Even without the blender ball whisk thing, it mixes very well and is super easy to clean. Holds enough for all my protein shakes or preworkout drinks and doesn't leak. There is no rubber gromit so just make sure you put the lid on properly and your good!!!

I'm new to protein powders and shaker bottles. Based on my limited experience, this seems to work well.I've tried shaking protein powder and milk in a Mason jar with very lumpy results. This requires much less shaking and results in fewer and smaller lumps. There is another powdered drink mix that I've tried stirring into water. After much stirring, it is still clumpy. But shaking it in this bottle reliably removes ALL clumps. This is also easy to rinse. Just add some water and give it a few shakes. It won't be clean, but it will be well rinsed.

This is excellent -- easy to clean, sturdy bottle, and is SHOCKINGLY effective at mixing. The shape somehow works perfectly, and my protein shakes are more evenly mixed than even my shaker-ball bottles, and requires so little effort. Perfect size. The biggest knock is the lid -- it doesn't snap on super securely so you need to (a) hold it closed when you shake, and (b) triple check that it's securely closed to keep it leak-proof. Otherwise it's excellent. If it had a different lid, it'd be perfect!
