Enjoy the freedom and mobility of two cordless handsets and the confidence of knowing the location of the corded handset with the CS6649-2 telephone system by VTech. Handset and base speakerphones make hands-free conversations easy with the touch of a button, and a Quiet Mode feature silences the ringers immediately or for an extended period of time.
Caller ID/Call Waiting ensures you don't miss those most important calls, while intercom and conference capabilities streamline in-home communication and eliminate disruptive shouting through the home. Lighted keypads and large, lighted displays on the handsets make viewing and dialing easy.
With up to 14 minutes of recording time, the digital answering system answers calls when you can't. Plus, the VTech CS6649-2 can expand up to five handsets using the CS6609 accessory handset.

Not good at all didn't last before the 6month was coming in, Try something else unlessyou only want it for a short time I would buy it again if that was the only thing available at the time.

Los teléfonos al principio funciono bien solo el teléfono fijo, osea el alambrico, los inalambricos no se escuchaban bien hasta terminar en que ya no funcionaron, pedí la devolución pero no había devolución gratis, al ser un envío internacional no lo pudimos regresar porque era muy costoso el envío por paqueteria y por correos no lo hacían por llevar pilas, así que tuve que quedarme con unos teléfonos que no sirven

Los teléfonos son super eficaces. Los compre para comodidad en el hogar ya que mis padres son adultos mayores y un teléfono en cada lugar de la casa les ayuda demasiado. Hasta el momento no he tenido ningún inconveniente. Super recomendados.

As my parents aged, they each found both operating and charging smart phones more challenging. Their old landline allowed three rings before going to voicemail, which was problematic for individuals who no longer jumped to answer the phone. I bought and installed this. It allows for several long ring tones before going to voicemail and answering the main unit is as easy as picking up the receiver. The handsets can be answered by pushing the green button and terminated by pressing the red. Having worked with cognitively disabled people, this would also seem an ideal way to ensure they can answer, and possibly dial, calls. Volume and audio quality are fine, both via the handset and on speakerphone.

Si bien un teléfono fijo se está dejando de usar, las personas de la tercera edad lo tienen aún como su preferido. Pero este modelo en especial, tiene el volumen muy bajo aún en speaker mode y les cuesta trabajo escuchar

Sound is not very clear. It's loud enough, but a little difficult to understand.Sitting on a desk the base will not tilt toward you as much as it should. There is a lot of numbers and letters in the background that clash with what's at the forefront.

Hard to find a corded answering machine with cordless extensions. Good features and sound quality (my hard of hearing husband likes it). We had a Panasonic one and the answering machine was also a cordless phone. The problem with that is that you only get about half hour of calling before it goes dead. The other problem with any of those is if the power goes off after a certain amount of time you can't use it because the battery needs charging. Corded landline will never do that. The thing I did like about our old Panasonic is the pre-programmed spam call filter which this doesn't have. It is easy to use and has all the features we need. Great phone system!
