I just enjoy having a land line phone that looks great and does all the screening and clarifying of callers that I never had on the phone I replaced. Having two additional phones that can be placed in other rooms just makes this purchase even better. It surpasses my expectations in all ways.

40 page "Quick guide to setup" in tiny print. vocal reports on incoming calls is muffled and annoying.

For some reason, I take my anger out on my phones. I have thrown these phones and the battery compartment cover comes off and the battery comes out. I calm down, find the pieces and put them back together and PRESTO! The phone is fine. Good reception, crystal clear. Only problem is that they can only take so much abuse and the screens break. But the phone still works. I've thrown the handset and it has bounced about 4 feet in the air, and I put them back together. Apparently, one can only register so many handsets to the base. Alas, as I said, the handsets can take only so much abuse. But, these are excellent phones.

Before purchasing this landline telephone, I usually received 10 to 15 spam calls daily. After replacing my old landline telephone with this AT&T telephone I receive zero spam calls now. I wish I had found this telephone years ago. It truly is an amazing device. It stops those annoying calls 100 percent.

Es exactamente lo que andaba buscando, ya que tenía uno de la misma marca y dejo de funcionar después de un muy buen tiempo de uso. (la base no solamente los inalámbricos ya no conseguí las pilas de repuesto)

I picked this up for my 82 year old mother, when she went from old copper phone lines to VOIP. Her old copper phone lines died, and the phone company said that they were going to install fiber optic. Even though it was not available in her area, they stopped doing service on the old lines. So she could do without a phone until they installed the fiber optic, or go with the cable VOIP (she gets bad cell reception at home, so dropping to no home line was not best option). Since VOIP plugs into router box rather than the wall, we had to get her some portable phones so she could have them in different rooms. She got the package, took them out, charged them, hooked them up to her router, ported her phone number over and it all works. For her there was a steep learning curve. She had never owned a cordless phone, went from one on the wall in the kitchen and one in the bedroom to this. She can make phone calls, listen to voice mails, at least on the base unit, adjust the ringer volume, and that is about it, so far (a couple months). Her only complaint, besides all those buttons, is that the base unit is dark, so she has a flashlight next to it. But was very glad it came with a paper instruction book, in English! She is happy to look up things when she needs to figure out something "new."This is not the newest, or probably the best out there, but was easy enough for my 82 year old mother to master, at least as much as she needs to master, so for her perfect 5 stars!
