Item has a solid operational camera that works well with Teams and Zoom. However, the halo light around the camera is not strong enough to really make a difference with lighting.

I have been searching for a good camera with multiple lights and an on/off mode. This is IT! Love the lighting. Awesome buy and well worth it!

Back light compensation was rough. If you weren't in a fully lit bright room or had colored LED lights the entire picture would flicker. It stopped working after about 6 months. Now it will show on the computer but once you use it the camera freezes and removes from device list

I get comments on the time on my calls about how good the camera is. I've sent the link to numerous people because they want to purchase it. It didn't cost a lot but it works for what I need.

I brought this webcam to improve my online communication. I work in quite a dark environment (my choice), but when having online meetings (including lecturing) the monitor lamps I use leave me in shadow.I tend to use the warm setting (it doesn't highlight the white in my beard) with a medium intensity as I am only a metre away from the camera.It works well with MS Teams, Google Meet and WhatsApp.I cannot comment on the microphone, sorry, as I use a boom mic for my online discussions.

Not sure it provides better than 720p or maybe 1080p quality but, for a webcam to be used for zoom etc it's plenty good enough, especially considering the price and it includes a mini tripod to sit it on my desk underneath the monitor. Not sure the ring light does very much despite it's variable brightness and whiteness choices, but the auto-focus works pretty well in a well lit room.Overall, I'm pleased with it and would buy again if I needed another.

I have been using a superb 4k webcam for a while now, but I often have to put on the main light in the room when using it because it struggle with only soft lighting. This little fella on the other hand solves that issue.Okay, a couple of things. FIrst of all when I'm using Teams or Zoom there is no difference between a 2k and a 4k camera. I accept if you were filming something to use at a later date then it might be noticeable, but for live streaming, you'll never know.The sound quality is suprisingly good for a camera. I am more than happy to use it rather than adding an additional microphone.But, as I said in the headline, it's all about the light. There are two colours a 4000k blue-white light which is a little harsh on my skin, and then there is a much warmer light which seems to give me a little colour on screen and I'm a big fan of that one. Both versions have three settings, low, medium and high. I tend to use high if I need the light on, it's not that the others are that much lower, but if I'm going to use it I may as well use it all.The auto focus is also very good, it doesn't range much at all, and if you only move back and forward at a normal speed rather than dancing around like a fool, you'll never notice it adjusting anyway.I also love the built in lens cover, my other camera has one glued on which works, but this is a far better design.Overall, a very good buy. If you need the light, pick one up.

Adequate replacement webcam to replace a laptop built in webcam, but results are not perfect and there are a couple of issues with its use.Inside the box you get the webcam, a small tripod to allow free standing, a USB A to USB C adapter and instruction sheet. The webcam itself has a clip attachment that allows the camera to stand flat on a desk, or be clipped onto the screen. The camera is attached via a ball type adapter that allows it to be rotated and adjusted for the correct angle. The base also has a screw thread to attach to the supplied tripod, or your own tripod if needed. Around the lens is a ring light that has a variety of brightness levels (6) and colour temps (2), and again whilst this is good for close ups, it wont light up a room.The camera has a privacy cover that is slid on and off, which is a necessity for anyone online in case you need a bit of privacy.In use, the camera is OK. No drivers are needed, simply plug in, Windows finds it and its ready to use. I have used it in Teams today and whilst it was an improvement on the in built webcam, it wasn't a huge improvement. Sound quality was fine and I was heard easily and clearly.Picture and video quality is adequate but not 2k as far as I can see.I have 2 issues with the camera that othered me. the first was the privacy cover/ring light. It is very difficult to slide the cover on and off without activating the ring light, and once the light is on, you have to go through all the light modes to turn it off again, which is a shame.The other issue is that it was constantly focussing, in and out of focus, over and over. I found this quite off putting and I could se no way of stopping the autofocus other than go into the camera settings and turning it to manual mode focus which then has the problem that you ned to sit in the same position and distance otherwise you will e out of focus again.Whilst this is not a huge leap up in quality, it will be better for older laptops that have very poor in built cameras, but newer laptops will likely have equal or better webcams already provided.

This webcam comes as a reasonably priced webcam with extra features that most don't include.The camera is well made and neatly compact.The lead for connection to the computer is almost 5 feet long which is better than a few of these types.The best 'extra' features included with the webcam is the addition of a mini tripod, ( which can be detached) and a very useful feature - ( the reactive to touch light changing modes).The webcam installation was very simple - just plug into your Macbook or PC and it is recognised immediately.The focus on the camera is good quality and it only takes a second or two to become pin sharp.By simply 'tapping' the inner circle of the webcam face, you can change the light quality to 5 x different settings ( from cold white to warm light).It also has a neat cover that can slide over the lens if you only want to use the light itself.The main body of the webcam is moulded around a spring loaded clip, if you wish to attach it directly to the laptop or monitor screen without the tripod.Happy to recommend this product for quality, value and flexibility
