I have one of those bird feeders that has a wi-fi camera to watch the critters eat. It was just out of range to stream video reliably. I used this cable move the antenna for the feeder to a closer location to my wi-fi. I'm sure you could do the same if you are trying to move your router antenna to a better location as well.

The two end connection are wired wrong. The male end had the copper needle which was suppose to be on the female end so I couldn't connect because the female end had no copper needle in the center.

The cable length of the original PCIe card wi-fi adapter was disappointing after the unit I had replaced had come with a good five foot section. The new unit would only reach to the top of the computer case -- better than nothing but given my location within the house, that was unacceptable as a good location. This pair of cable extensions were the right length to place the antennae at the top shelf of the computer desk.No signal degradation observed due to the addition, and overall a better quality connection.
