The dog ate both sticks that came with our toddlers play drum & xylophone set and these worked perfectly to replace them

Only gave it four starts because while it is exact as advertised the wood finish came off almost immediately. If you’re buying for children who have hot hands, sticky hands (that may require the mallet to be washed) or may put it in the mouth, just be aware that they will wipe of the finish immediately.

These mallets were purchased for playing the xylophone and they fit the bill, but we're already down a couple.. not the best quality

A set (2) of these broke within the first 2 weeks of very, very light use. The balls on the ends split. The last pair that were used by this person lasted almost 2 years, then the dog got them,so I don’t think the breakage is the user’s fault. I threw the other 2 away & bought a different brand,so far so good.

These short mallets are perfect for my two year old to play his toy xylophones. The mallets always get lost, and having extra has made music time more musical and less like a treasure hunt.

These are nice yet inexpensive wooden mallets. They are great for practice on a glockenspiel. They arrived when expected and were packed appropriately.
