My OEM map sensor failed so I bought this cheapy aftermarket one here. Installed it and ran thru 3 tanks of gas, my MPG went from 31 down to 19 MPG with same gas and same driving conditions, checked with OBD scan tool and saw my long-term fuel trims were around neg 9, not enough to trip a CEL code but bad enough to reduce my MPGs due to rich fuel/air mixture. Checked MAP sensor output and it was varying with engine rpm but seemed to respond slowly and the min and max values seemed off so went to the junkyard and got a used OEM map sensor (it is a Keefco brand), cleaned it with map sensor cleaner and installed it, my mpg is back above 30mpg and scan tool now shows long and short term fuel trims around zero, yeah no more wasting gas, so this cheap after-market sensor does function and may keep your check engine light off but just does not respond to intake air pressure properly and your gas milage will suffer, my vehicle has only a map sensor and no maf sensor so map sensor is primary input to ECM regulating injector pulse width (fuel delivery),so no I would not recommend this map sensor, you do get what you pay for.
