Socket is inverted and narrower than original. Therefore, connector will not work. See photos of original and this one. At first glance they look the same. Look closely, there are three channels on top/ bottom. The outer two are slightly closer together on one side vs the other. The “new” unit has these on the opposite side. Which would be okay, if the locking hook was also on the other side. But alas…. No dice.
