I found this to be super cheap feeling. I understand that it's just a coring device - but I expected it to feel more sturdy in my hands. I'm not really sure who to blame but by shipping box was fine but I found my actual product in an absolutely smashed flimsy box. It worked fine and was not broken but everything just feels careless

I love cherries and this allows me to quickly pit and freeze some. Best pitter available. So easy to use and fast!

I have used cherry pitters for many years. I always purchased them at Bed, Bath & Beyond. But since that store is not around any more, I had to look elsewhere when my current cherry pitter broke. (It's at least 5+ years old.) This one looks like it should work well. While the pokers are metal, they do not poke the cherry pit all the way out of the cherry. You have to finish poking it out with your finger, which is very messy. It seems to crush the cherry more than it cleanly pokes out the pit. I have returned this one and was so disappointed to do so.

Granted. I haven't tried all the cherry pitters there are to try, but pitting six cherries at a time instead of one makes cherry pies and muffins/breads/jams seem like a lot less of an ordeal, and therefore more frequently chosen among options, which I think almost all of us can agree would be an improvement in the state of things.Being washable in the dishwasher also helps, which this is. You can take it apart. Things are very nicely compartmentalized, actually.For functionality's sake, to me this is an ideal cherry pitter.
