These starry night sky light covers have a significant darkening effect on your lights. They also add a slight blue/purple hue to the remaining light that gets through. The effect is very soothing, but I feel it's a bit TOO light blocking for having a functional space. Better for areas where you need to create an ambiance. The 4x2 size fit my standard ceiling tile/light size. The magnets left a lot to be desired - you will need to add additional magnets when hanging these up, to keep them from sagging. The wrinkles seem like they're here to stay, as I am too afraid to try to iron this kind of fabric. All and all, they're not terrible. Just be warmed that this dark blue color may give you more darkness than you want. If you need more light, opt for one of the other colors.
