I am repairing an aluminum Werner extension ladder and this looks to be an "exact" replacement part except that it is black instead of red (and has some minor casting moulding differences which affect aesthetics but not fit / size or operation). [ This assessment is based on ACTUALLY placing the new part next to what is installed and not just looking at product photos. ]The ladder I am fixing has the red part (presumably the OEM part) riveted on, so I will now need to pop off the rivets somehow. I expect I will intentionally break the remaining part of the broken flippers and then saw or somehow shear the rivet. I could also drill them out, but that would likely take longer.$8 for a bit of plastic and some simple hardware may seem like a "high" price, but given that replacing such a ladder would cost at least $200 for a 16 footer (more for longer), the value here is clear and bright!I am very glad to see other parts for Werner ladders are also available through this (and other) sellers.Highly recommended if you have a ladder to repair!
