We had some multi-mode icicle lights that were operated by remote. The problem was that we use smart outlets so when the outlets turn on, you have to manually turn the lights on. I replaced the IR controllers and power supplies with these. Perfect! They go off when power is removed and come on when power is restored. They also remember the last LED mode that was used.

After 6 nights of use, it appears to have "burned-out" in some way. Still produces detectable a/c voltage all along the LED light string - which no longer lights-up.

This power supply was purchased to fix our Arbor lights when water fried the original power supply, the item has Raintight on the case, but obviously it wasn't raintight!*** make sure you buy the correct power supply and that the power connector is the correct size.Item was sent by Amazon in a bubble bag and appeared to be trampled, it seems they no longer safely pack items.

This snowman is about 7’ tall, after a couple of years it stopped working. After looking at numerous plugs I bought this one. The candy canes I put on it because it wasnt lighting up but as you can see it is now, you have to make sure the male plug end fits, look at yours carefully and the picture of the inside of the connection. It is different than some.This fixed my $200 snowman and the functions work, even though I didnt need functions as it didnt have them previously. The shipping time was good and the product saved my snowman and money.

My parents installed a 1500 LED string by "Lumeo" on their balcony last year and before the end of the season it ceased to function. It had a slightly more complicated two-part power supply/mode selector and timer module, but the same screw-in connector as this one uses (polarity included.) I rewired the connector to the light string, deleting both the original transformer and the selector/timer box and it works flawlessly and is much less cumbersome!This device allowed me to save this quite expensive string of LED's from the bin after what would have been a very short product life, so I am very grateful and I hope, that with proper precautions, it will work for a long time.
