Bearing Cup U-Joint Puller
This puller is the mule of pulling U-joints for bearing cups from 1.5” to 2.2” inches and will fit nearly all Class 7 and 8 trucks and machinery.
No Damage, No Danger
Using this safe method removes rusted and corroded bearings easily without damage to the U-joint’s driveshaft, yokes, joints, or bearing cups.
Fitment
It is designed for use with up to 1” inch impact wrenches and is compatible with all Spicer drivelines 1610, 1710, 1760, 1810, 1880, Spicer SPL 140, 170, and 250, “Life Series” Meritor (Rockwell) 16N, 17N, 18N, 1710 Meritor RPL 20 and 25 “Premalube” Series.

More cost effective for an owner operator than the professional grade competitor model.Havnt used the product yet but appears to be robust enough for my needs.

So I'm a diesel mechanic and the shop has one but everyone uses it and no one takes blame if it messed up. I got tired and bought this one, looks great, feels good, now I will use it after I get a u-joint to remove . Then I'll come back and review.

I replaced 2 ujoints (1810) in my 1994 peterbilt in less than 10 minutes. I used a milkwaukee cordless impact m18 1/2 drive and 1” socket. Make sure to lube the tool bolt with Wd40 or something similar.

It is big and heavy duty. Used it to remove 1610 ujoints. Definitely needed air impact in my case, the bearing cups can get really hard to pull after years of service but this thing made it relatively easy on a coach with the only access being from underneath, on my back. Can't imagine any other way with this kind of limited access and this one was a good buy at the price.

use a 1" gun on tool just to see if would take,it tokk the beating like champ ,this tool is well worth the price

I purchased this because I did not want to pay a mechanic to change a differential seal on dump truck, I used an adjustable wrench and it worked great
