I picked them up for light duty on an outdoor shooting range.I would not expect much out of them with rugged use.They are true to size, but I did slip in a pair of better insoles.The zippers are a nice feature, but I can see them being prone to fail after a few months.Overall, this is a soft comfortable boot, but they are not designed for heavy use. The sole will not provide much protection against sharp objects on a trail, or a heavy item dropped on your toes.

I'm a bit picky about my footwear and hard to fit. These boots surprised me. For the price, they are surprisingly nice. The fit is good, they look great, are light on my feet, and seem to be fairly rugged. Sizing runs a tad smaller than my normal (half size). The side zipper makes it a lot easier to get on and off. Haven't gone on a long hike yet, but everywhere else they are holding up. Great for riding my bike also.

I just received them yesterday but pleased so far. I’m 74 and scheduled for back surgery in three weeks. Needless to say, prolonged bending is a problem. These allow me much better support for my feet and calves while working on a step ladder or in the lawn or garden. I wore them today and my feet and legs don’t hurt like the normally would this evening. They look well built but time will be the test.
