Barely fit an iphone 15 pro max is a Tarrus magsafe cover. And the angle is a bit tilted due to camera so you can only place phone inside it with volume key covered. But Simple and elegant design and comfortable on hands.

Purchased Dec 1 2024, Review on Jan 2, 2025 - I bought this device for my son's gaming need. It was for the iPhone 13 Pro. It fit well, good charger and the fan actually helps.

I got this for my Pixel 7 Pro and it barely fits... of course without a case! because how tight fit this is, it makes a good handle for gaming but i don't think this was designed for my phone! lol. i am trying it for now but if it get's too clunky and hard to fit, might have to return the dang thing... it is perfect holder for my phone for now!

I bought this for my 12 Pro after the phone being too small for my hands to game on. I could feel the aching from hands disappear as I was opening this device. I knew that it was not able to charge an iPhone 12 Pro before buying it, I needed it for the heat issues and aching hands. It definitely It feels like I'm holding a console controller, feels awesome, and actually gave me more space to game with (bottom left and especially right corner). After a whole day of use I can confidently say that I do not regret this purchase at all. I have purchased another mobile phone grip due to one main reason. The device itself is heavy aftere having to hold for prolong use. I really wish it was lighter, half the battery size or no battery at all, plug in only. I would totally be fine with that because I am a mobile game streamer and would not be using this for on the go use. I will be using triggers today with this device and honestly it feels awesome. Thank Anker, please make a lighter GRIP only. I would personally remove the fan function because there are newer MagSafe phone coolers out there like from Razer.

Laden funktioniert auch während des Spielens , weil das Smartphone nicht mehr direkt gehalten wird . Auch die Kühlung funktioniert ganz gut. 👍

Great charger from Anker makes it comfortable to play games and charge at the same time. Only just fits on my Samsung S20 plus with the case off.

I game a lot on my iPhone and have used a lot of different types of controllers - not including my Xbox One/PS4 controller, I’ve tried out a couple of GameSir controllers, countless no-name brands, grips with triggers, grips with mappable buttons, etc. I’ve tried out a lot and most of them have been disappointing. Most of them don’t even work anymore; Apple broke controller mapping with iOS 13.4.That being said, I bought this Anker as soon as I saw it was available. I own a few Anker products and have been very happy with them. Luckily, this grip is no exception - it’s a great product. It feels great and is very ergonomic in my large hands. I played a few rounds of Call of Duty and Mario Kart for a few hours today and it helped out tremendously with comfort. Typically, when I play on my iPhone XS, my hand tends to cramp up after about 10-20 minutes, but I didn’t have any pain during my play sessions. In terms of other features, it comes with a cooling fan (which I’ll probably never use) and also offers a built in battery so you can charge your phone (which I’ll probably use constantly). On the backside there is a little kickstand which is surprisingly useful. The controller is lined with a comfortable rubber grip that helps keep your phone in place and prevents it from sliding around. Anker also included a short USB-C to USB-A cord. One of my favorite features is that there’s two ports to charge: USB-C (for both input/output) and USB-A (for just output). The USB-C cable charges quickly as expected and should be able to keep up with even the most processor intensive games. One recommendation: if you plan on using this to charge your phone, I’d recommend picking up a 1’ charging cable. The standard iPhone charging cable (the one that comes with phones) is 3’ long and is way too long to use with the controller. 1’ cords don’t create any slack, and I’m pretty sure 6” cords would be too short. There’s not many downsides to it. If I were pressed to say something negative about this grip, it’s that it’s a little heavy. It’s a minor complaint, but I was surprised to see that this thing had a little bit of heft to it. I also wish it would’ve come with a carrying case or sleeve or something - all other Anker batteries I’ve purchased come with carrying cases, so I was surprised to see that this didn’t include one.Overall - great product. If you want a comfortable grip that offers great additional features, this is an excellent option. Highly recommended.

I got this in yesterday and haven't had much play time with it, but I've enjoyed using it so far.I am using a Pixel 2 XL and the game I played is Elder Scrolls: Blades. I spend a good amount of time in that game, which does heat up my phone and puts a strain on the battery so I figured I'd test with that.My phone will not fit with my slim Caseology case on, but that's ok. Having a case on will just block the built in fan of the PowerCore and won't have any affect, so I don't mind taking the case off. My Pixel 2 XL fits comfortably in the PowerCore, and the PowerCore really feels good in my hands. I also watch a lot of content on my phone, so having the kickstand in the back is very nice. I think the added cooling fan helps. I feel like it does, but I haven't ran a game for an hour with or without the PowerCore and temped the phone yet. Maybe I will in the future and add to the review. Charging the phone is as good as any other Anker powerbank. No issues. Was not charged out of the box and did not take long (3 hours maybe) to charge at home. Construction of the PowerCore feels good. Doesn't seem cheap or too plasticy. Has a good weight to it as well, but not too heavy for me.I'm not bothered by the fact that there is no wireless charging. My Pixel 2 XL is a metal body, so you can't do wireless charging anyways. There are glass back phones with wireless charging obviously, but the contact points in those different phones varies. So for Anker to try to implement that in this PowerCore would probably mean it wouldn't work with all phones. Also, and this is just speculation, I don't see where you would put wireless charging points without having to downsize or move the cooling fan. Just my opinion, obviously I'm not the engineer that designed this product.Really enjoy this product. Highly recommend if you game or watch hours of content on your phone.
