I've twist the tension to the highest, but it still doesn't work on the table I have. it slips easily.

I switched out my old ones and I can’t believe how strong these latches are. I had to loosen them tension way down so I could open the doors on my Dinette Hutch.

Replacing old ball catch latches on fireplace doors. Marked, drilled and tapped for 4mm. Go to mount and found out that everyone of the Hole-to-hole and hole-to-center on components vary like crazy! 1/2 hr. job turned into 1-1/2 hr. job. One would think that these would be made on a CNC machine and be somewhat close. It was like all the mounting holes were hand drilled. A bunch of fertilizer!

I bought this as repair pieces for all the cabinet latches in my 2003 American Eagle motorhome. Its an exact match to the brass fitting installed when it was new.

Installing these things is an absolute Bi**h, but once you get them installed they really do the job. My RV constantly had drawers swinging open with every curve or turn. We had to bungee cord them, but that only kept them from opening completely, they still opened and then the bungee slammed them shut. With these installed, it's no longer a worry ... even rough terrain while turning doesn't open them.A trick I used to help install them was to install the "female" part with the male part already in it and then use a stolen bright red lipstick from my wife's collection to completely cover the male part's back side, then close the door/drawer to see where the male part lines up and install it.

They work well but are difficult to install without a jig. You may want to make one.
