This was unusually great for a radio transmitter. It charges at close to 20w on the usbc and really easy to configure even though my gf tossed the instructions. I like that the colour is variable and its easy to adjust the music with one-click buttons. helped to modernize without destroying the interior of my 2000 986 boxster. Love it!

I like that this little device has a lot of features packed into a small space. I have an older car equipped with a radio that isn't Bluetooth ready, as well as the built-in AUX port isn't functioning properly. This receiver/transmitter's ability to receive the Bluetooth signal from my phone and transmit it to the car's radio on an FM frequency of my choosing was easy to set up (the manual is worded & illustrated helpfully) and works well with good-sounding audio. I also like the ability to press the button on the front of the unit to receive calls or return to my music. It's handy that the unit is equipped to hold a micro-SD card (TF Card) which is another way to play music if I don't have my phone. It's also equipped with a charging ports and has the ability to change the colors of the LED around the front rim of the device, which is nice if you want to match your car's lighting decor. The unit worked well as advertised, but if you're considering it, be aware that the |>| buttons, as well as the Mode button are on the bottom of the unit, and can only be easily reached if your cigarette lighter plug is in a location that affords access to the bottom of the unit. (My car did not, because the cigarette lighter is at the bottom of my instrument panel (see photo).

I really wanted this Bluetooth FM-Transmitter for Car Lighter to work out. I have tried several and I am using two cheaper alternatives, and for this device's price and nice looks (I like the silver metal finish + colorful low lights) I was hoping for an upgrade. On the positive side:The BT connection to the phone is solid (Samsung Galaxy A25, iPhone 14, and Moto-G-5G) and effortless; the hands-free calling is pretty decent (mic works well, incoming calls sound clear from car speakers); its FM transmitter is also very good, sending clear/noise-free signal to the car radio. There are two serious problems, however:1. The music quality is poor: First, the volume is really low even at max (U30) setting, and you need to increase the car volume quite a lot to hear the BT music (changing the car radio to a different FM station now, blasts you with really loud music). Secondly, the stereo reproduction is rather poor (muffled all around, lacking bass, and the definition of high freq. resembles putting a pillow in front of a speaker); also, flipping between stereo and mono on the phone makes little, if any at all, difference to the sound quality(!!). All this is not due to interference from outside radio signals, this device's radio signal is actually pretty good both at free FM channels, and on top of weak FM stations.2. The design of the buttons (both placement and function) is terrible. To operate, it requires three free sides around the lighter socket, to accommodate fingers and charging cables. In a Honda Accord, this means the screen is vertical and the charging cables are bent. Even so, and having read the instructions (which is absolutely necessary as things are not intuitive), I had big problems tuning the transmitter to a desired frequency, and I could not easily reproduce the process (second and third time changing freq, were as difficult as the first time). Skipping forward a song in the playlist was tricky, and 2 or 3 times I accidentally threw the FM transmitter off its tuning/freq. The biggest most accessible round button is pretty much useless (only really used to switch between music and calls).I didn't test playing music from a USB drive, or using the USB charging ports, as I got too frustrated with it by trying to tune it to a given frequency. At the time of this review, there exist other Bluetooth/FM-cig.lighter devices on amazon, that offer same functionality with better quality, and far easier operation (far superior user-experience) for $10, that is, a third of this device's $30 price. If you need this to listen to an audiobook or podcast, and pick up handsfree calls, this maybe ok, although it is way overpriced at $30 (vs. amazon alternatives at the time of this review). If you also want to listen to music, or prefer not to be daily frustrated with setup and operation, you probably need to look elsewhere.

I use this primarily for listening to music from my phone in my car. It connects to my phone via Bluetooth. I can listen to any music from any app on my phone. You can also make and answer calls with it. It has a memory card slot and two USB ports. It is really easy to setup and navigate through use. It has lighting and the color can be changed as well as having it solid or fading in and out.
