This is a neat idea for a packaged 12 VDC weatherproof switch, plus it's well made and ruggedly built. I've bought and reviewed this type of inline switch for switching AC equipment in my shop but I'd never seen one set up for 12 volt DC with SAE pigtails. This is a great solution, pretty much plug and play. The connectors aren't marked so you'll find that it works sourced from either connector; in the normal mode the switch lights when the contacts close, reverse it and the lamp stays lit all of the time. The switch is easy to operate with its large flat toggle face and though it's a little mushy feeling it works fine. The backlight is not as bright as I'd like but unless it's in bright sunlight it's good. The case is thick plastic with a good rubber gasket, and inside the switch the connections are soldered to the terminals.This is a great switch for any 12 VDC device that's wired with SAE connectors. It's well built, well priced, and easier than coming up with all of the parts and building one. A solid 5 star product.

Daohaodeli DC 12V Inline Power Toggle Switch, IP67 Waterproof 12AWG ON/Off Switch SAE Cable with Quick Red Light ButtonIn full sun, it can be hard to see the on/off glow of the switch backlight, but visible with a shadow. The housing is sold, little clunky, but simple to use/install. Two screw holes if you want to mount it, and SAE quick connects. You can put this in backwards easily enough, but it will still function as a switch. The indicator light will be on as long as your power source is attached if you put it in backwards. Flip it around and the indicator light functions properly - on when turned on, off when turned off.Overall, solid build even with the wires not being attached to each other like a lamp cord or speaker wire. You can see the gasket to keep the water out which is good in my opinion, and the switch has a rubber boot around it to flex when toggled. It has an industrial look but I am not mounting this on a silver platter. Maybe a cutting board with an RV water pump next to it.

This IP67 rated waterproof toggle Switch is made really well with excellent materials throughout featuring SAE to SAE plugs with 12AWG wire through a waterproof electrical box with mounts.It is larger than I anticipated but, that is a good thing here as it feels really substantial and of high-quality.Perfect to use outdoors and is easy to plug right in to your matching SAE connectors, awesome!
