In short if you have a Can-am Outlander650, this ***WILL NOT WORK!!!*** Claims to fit Can-am Outlander 650. It DOES NOT!!! I repeat, this product does NOT fit the can-am outlander 650. Not only that, but best I can tell, if one was to attempt to “force it” to fit, it could very well damage the wire connector on your machine. Models match the claimed compatibility, however the outlander 650 needs to be removed from the description on this product listing. Even if it did attach correctly, I am not sure that the D.E.S.S. Key system would even work with this product. You would have to use the key supplied with this product which is just a plain (thinner) key than the manufacturer original D.E.S.S. key. (And if you are wondering if the manufacturer key would fit in this ignition, NO the slot is too narrow to even attempt to fit.

Does not fit can am it said it fit the model of my ignition but it does not.
