I replaced this controller on my pit boss smoker but it doesnt heat correctly or to temperature i have to keep turning it off and back on to keep the temp close to what i need

Bought as lower cost alternative to Pit Boss OEM SKU 80102. Didn't resolve issue with auger continually running. Will buy OEM item. Hopefully this will resolve issue.

I have pulled my control panel a couple times over the years to clean and repair a broken wire. One of the weaknesses has been where the wire attaches to the board. This panel appears to have a better or more upgraded attachment point for these wires and Im eager to see how it performs over time. The size and design otherwise are identical to the factory control panel. The switch has a positive click for each position and the numbers are bright and easy to see. The cost of pellet grills has come down over the years and the ability to buy affordable replacement parts is a deciding factor as to repair or replace. This fits the bill, a decent product at a lower than factory price.
