I had mixed results using this tool due to the weight of it. It was easy to assemble and seems to be made well. The design however is bulky and was hard for me to control the blade placement and ability to step down on it. The lip on the top of the blade is too thin to really feel secure stepping on it. I would say the blade is too high,it would be easier to use if it were half the depth. I only took off one star due to the fact this might be easier for a younger person to handle than a senior. The price point is really reasonable but for me the functionality was the problem.

I really thought this would come out together but it in fact did not. The quality is fine but I could have easily found this at my local Home Depot for about the same cost. The functionality is great, because it’s a specific product. It looks awfully goofy in the box when you open it, but it is really very easy to use.

Like most tools, if you try and save money...you will likely regret it later. Yes, this edger works...I tested it on array of surfaces.What I don't like? Blades aren't nearly as sharp as they should be. It arrived rusted (see pics). Even fully tightened...it wobbles.Unless you're needing something semi-disposable, spend the extra money for something better. I would've sent this back if not a review.

I’m so impressed with this Edger Lawn Tool! It’s incredibly easy to use and makes a noticeable difference in the look of my yard. The large serrated blade easily cuts through grass and roots, even at a depth of 5.5 inches. I love that the blade stays sharp even after heavy use. The 39-inch handle is the perfect height for reducing strain on my back, and the tool is surprisingly lightweight but durable. It’s also eco-friendly and much quieter than electric trimmers, making yard work a peaceful, satisfying task. This manual lawn edger is a fantastic way to create neat, crisp edges along sidewalks, driveways, and flower beds. Definitely recommend!

I really wanted to like this tool - the sheer weight of it makes it feel sturdy. But I found it difficult to cut through sod, even when wet. My old steel half-moon edger works much better. Maybe a bigger, stronger person would have better luck with this, but I was disappointed in this item.

This edger is made of strong metal, not flimsy in any way. It requires assembly of three pieces (directions included). You insert and tighten 2 bolts to each end of the middle. There are 3 holes on the middle section so you can adjust the height a little. What I did not like was the bolts are too long which could result in a cut because the threaded end is exposed. Also, once bolted there was a little play in the finished shaft of the tool. I put tape about 3/4 of the way around between the bolt holes on the middle section and this solved that issue. I like the bicycle style grips on the handle. No doubt it will cut sod without a problem.
