The outer threads on the NMO mount itself are the wrong spacing and it's almost impossible to thread an antenna onto it.

Cable assembly looks great BUT, after installation, it was found to be internally shorted. Through the process of troubleshooting the short, it is internal to the coax…it was Not in the BNC connector or Mount assembly itself. Just not worth buying again or evening attempting to return. de NF4J

The guy I got my Powered Parachute from cut the antenna wire very short and it never picked up quite right so I ordered this and relocated the antenna. I just had the machine on the ground and it worked flawlessly. I'll find out more when I go flying next time but just from the initial install it worked great!

I've bought a total of 5 of these NMO to BNC cables over the years for different vehicles, and I'm about to buy 4 more for another project. They simply just work great. With proper installation, I haven't had any coming loose or getting rusty, despite constant exposure to the elements and car washes.

It works as designed, when I first received this I thought the cable looked a little flimsy and tightening this thing proved right, as it fell apart from the base. I ended up re-soldering all the points, and I feel that, that improved its quality 10x. I have had no reception or transmission issues with this item since I Resoldered it.

Good deal. Wanted an NMO mount for my pctel 800mhz scanner antenna and I didn't want all the typical lossy connectors and adapters between the ant and my scanner. This is the item. I'm slightly concerned about how brittle the cable conducter to nmo connection looks but maybe just being paranoid. Will update if I encounter any issues
