This can be used on tall ladders with a rope to pull them up from the ground.

I had an aluminum extension ladder that came from my father that was probably 50 years old and had no manufacture name on it. I chose to fix it up first before giving it to our son, so I added this pulley to it, since originally it only had a rope with no pulley. Pretty simple, just had to drill a small hole for the rivet and then bolt the pulley on. Normally, you would need to drill the old rivet out if you are replacing an old pulley. Note: you will need a rivet gun to install this properly.
