Feels a little tighter than an OEM Honda key, but it works, I filed some edges down slightly with a bastard file to lessen what felt like drag on the ignition as you turn to start. So far, I’ve had no problem with any keys

I bought these because I misplaced my original keys and wanted to have some backups. I tried all 6 keys and they all started my Wen 11K generator. I highly recommend these keys for similar generators.

Rating ZERO if I could. Do not buy.I immediately tried one new key on my new EU3000 genset. The HX key had difficulty going in, and did not seat normally. I had to push it in to turn it. And when turned, it was not smooth like the original Honda brand key which came with the genset.When I tried to take the HX key out, it wouldn't come out! I tried for over 5 minutes and it wouldn't pull out by hand.So I tried a second new key in my older EU3000, and it also went in hard. It also jammed and would not come out. I finally pulled both out with pliers.I then used my original Honda key and it worked fine. It was not the ignition switch on either generator- problem is with the new HX key dimensions and finish machining.Turns out the key shank design is NOT the same as my original EU3000 key. Some differences I see are that the profile of the cut shaft of the new key is wider than the original at mid-length and at the end, and the tip end of the key is not radiused as the Honda key. Also the corners are not broken on the HX key, and have sharp edges. I did not try the other 4 of the 6 in the order for obvious reasons. I could have broken the ignition switch.Summary- DO NOT BUY THIS KEY for a Honda EU3000.
