What a difference on my trailer . Fits on the tongue nicely . Had to remove holder for 7 pin connector. Positioned mine and bolted it at an angle . Used my impact wrench and done in 30 mins . The grab bar seems weak but it's not . Installed on a folding tongue 2020 Tahoe trailer .Beware , if not connected to a tow vehicle , the steps will wobble with the trailer because your trailer isn't secured.

This is a quality product that has performed well for over two months. The steel construction and design work very well with my deck boat. You can pay a lot more for a step system but do not, these steps work great for the money.

The workmanship on these steps is very good - the welds are complete with no gaps. They aren't the neatest welds, and it's obvious they were done by hand (not a robot). But there aren't any major slag spots or gooped up welds. Key structural areas are well gusseted - there is very little flexing when climbing or descending the steps. The hammered powder-coated finish looks great - and the steps are dimpled to provide traction for wet shoes. There are multiple mounting holes in the steps to accommodate various trailer frame sizes, and allow the steps to be angled to clear the bow as needed. The grab handle is a nice addition to feel confident when moving up and down the steps when boarding/unboarding the boat. The handle is in two pieces for shipping, and bolts together. This looks a bit odd when installed, but I understand the need to make it in two pieces to make the kit economical to ship. The mounting hardware provided are medium-grade metric fasteners. If these start to rust, they will be replaced with stainless or grade 8 hardware. The hardware to assemble the handle, and to attach the handle to the top step have a captive lockwasher and flat washer on them, with a plain nut on the backside. This is a bit odd, since typically the washers would be installed on the nut side of a plate. But these seemed to tightened down and compressed the lock washers just fine. There were several issues with the set we received:- One of the holes on the handle plate was not cleared out prior to powder-coating, and we had to drill it out to install the mounting screw.- The handle joining plates were warped - it took considerable torque on the fasteners to flatten them for a secure connection.- The holes in the handle joining plates and handle mounting plate were countersunk, but they were on the mating side of each plate (not the side where a flat-head screw would reside). And none of the hardware included flat-head screws for these plates. Odd manufacturing.- There was no plug for the handle mount pipe under the top step - this can allow dirt and moisture to get inside this horizontal section of pipe.Overall, these are minor issues - the steps are a very affordable option that adds a tremendous amount of safety when boarding and unboarding the boat when it's on the trailer, and we recommend them!PROS:- Good construction, sturdy gussets- Nicely finished parts- Universal fit for a myriad of trailer frame sizes and configurations- Economical priceCONS:- Mid-grade hardware that can rust- A plugged mounting hole, and a warped mounting plate

The product is very stif and rgid. It doesn't rotate in my situation as far as I would have liked but it works. The bottom step is actually too low to be of much use. I mounted this on a ranger trail trailer with 519svs ranger.

I recently requested the Aupar Heavy-Duty Boat Trailer Steps with the grab handle, and I couldn't be happier. As an avid boater, I've always struggled with getting in and out of my boat while it's on the trailer, especially when it's wet or the trailer is on uneven ground. These steps have completely eliminated that struggle.First off, the construction is incredibly solid. These things are built like a tank! You can tell they're made with heavy-duty materials and are designed to last. The non-slip surface is excellent, providing a secure footing even when wet. I no longer worry about slipping and falling, which was a real concern before. The four steps are perfectly spaced, making it easy to climb up and down. The added safety grab handle is a fantastic feature, providing extra stability and peace of mind.Installation was straightforward and quick. The steps fit perfectly on my trailer tongue and seem compatible with a wide range of trailer designs, as advertised. I appreciate the patent-pending design; it's clear that Aupar has put a lot of thought into this product.Overall, I highly recommend the Aupar Heavy-Duty Boat Trailer Steps. They are a worthwhile investment for any boat owner who wants to make loading and unloading their boat safer and easier. They're sturdy, well-designed, and provide excellent value for the price. Five stars!Pros:Heavy-duty constructionNon-slip surfaceFour well-spaced stepsSturdy safety grab handleEasy installationCompatible with most deep V trailersCons:(Honestly, I haven't found any yet!)
