Make sure you replace existing and line up the screws points. You need at least 2 screws to anchor down. This was a replacement for a 5th wheel Montana tank.

Strap is too long and too loose. I was able to get it to work with a LOT of modification. Heng should pay me the $21 for this!

I would recommend this product to anyone that needs to secure a propane tank in their RV.

It was an easy mount of course. The fastener on this one seems to be a better construction and fit than the last one, which completely fell apart in the span of a year and a half.Time will tell.

We bought this after my husband accidentally broke the (garbage) strap that came with our expensive Fifth Wheel. For months, we had the inconvenience of hauling the 30 pound gas canister in and out of the RV every time we traveled. We bought a replacement strap at an RV dealership, and it was the wrong size (shocker - RV dealership selling the wrong product!). Finally, my husband said, let's try Amazon, and suddenly, a tough problem was easily solved. Of course, the RV manufacturers used weird screws to put this in when it was made, so we did not have the right head in our giant toolkit for the old screws. We could have bought new screws, but my husband finally managed to find a head that worked, and screwed this new strap into place. We have a 30 pound canister, and this strap is ever so slightly too big. But no big problem - it holds the canister in place, and we are going to buy a little bit of pipe insulation to wrap around the strap and snug it into the canister. So yes, good product, works great, so relieved we don't have to keep hauling that 30 pound canister around any more.

Thought this would be a snug fit for a 5 gallon propane bottle but it is not. Has a couple of inches of play
