Purchased May 2023. Easy installation. Quiet operation. Definitely lowest profile in the market. Purchased new $190.00.Part failure January 2025 - Wireless controller failure. Controller is built into the housing, thus no way just swap that part out. After testing all home electrical wiring by an electrician, contacted Hunter customer support for warranty service. Hunter shipped and delivered in 2 days (fast). Since I purchased through Amazon, all receipts were easily accepted for verification.

Fan works great and was straightforward to install. Lots of comments on the light being very dim but it’s actually dimmable, you just have to press and hold the light button on the remote. I found these instructions on another sight and they worked for me: “please make sure the dimming is activated so the light can be set on the brightest setting. To activate the dimming, press and hold the up and down arrows for 5 seconds. Once the dimming is activated, press and hold the light button to adjust the brightness of the light.”

I recently installed the Hunter fan and a few things struck me that I figured would help others if they are looking to purchase. First, I am a like Hunter fans so it is the brand I tend to start with when shopping. This one was for a smaller room with a lower ceiling. It fits well into the room and the size is good, etc. Fan is quiet and pretty easy to install (keep reading). The LED light kit isn't great. The brightness of the LEDs are ok but there aren't enough LEDs to really light the room (even a smaller one). Colors are a little strange (yes I know how to change that with the remote). My biggest WTF disappointment with the install was the screws/hardware provided seemed cheap and bad. The screws intended for stud/structure install are garbage - plan to use your own if that is your mounting method. The heads stripped easily and Hunter should know better based on how long they are. All the fasteners seemed poor. The light kit seems a little crude. I would replace it with something else if I could easily. It moves air well. Would likely not recommend to others.

Nice quality ceiling hugger fan and perfect in my space. An electrician did the installation so can't comment if easy or difficult. Super super quiet. Would like the light to be brighter.

Great fan - I've had it for almost 5 years and the light is starting to flicker. I think the bulb is burning out, but I have no idea where to get a replacement bulb as it is quite unique. Anyone have any suggestions?

There was an old-fashioned fan with cords leftover from some previous owner. It never occurred to us to replace it until the light started flickering. We are so happy with this fan! It looks good, it cools well, and the light is nice and bright! We hired a handyman to install and based on the short time it took I'm guessing it's pretty easy.

Last year we bought a new house and the bedroom we wanted to use as ours had a low, 7-foot ceiling. Despite that, we love having a ceiling fan, so looked around for a low profile fan. This Hunter fan, in silver, does a great job of keeping us cool and saving on air conditioning.I must admit, it it was a little unnerving having the fan whirling away just above my head, but as I knew it wouldn't hit me, I eventually forgot about it.I do find the remote a little annoying at times but that's because the fan's hooked up to a light switch. If the light switch is off, then the remote doesn't work. That's not the fault of the remote, but it can be annoying, especially as the remote is on the other side of the room, near my bedside.

Needed a ceiling fan for the second floor hallway, to help dissipate the warm air and push it towards the first floor. Due to the narrow width of the hallway (80") and its limited height (92"), my aims were towards something compact but powerful enough to do the job. This low profile Hunter fan checked all the boxes, so decided to purchase.Installation is fairly easy IF instructions are being followed closely. Do not invent or exclude steps, it will work against you....A number of reviewers complained about the lack of a "guide" for operating the remote and an annoying "beep" when sending commands to the device. I believe the manufacturer listened and now they ship a small piece of paper with button combinations, and there is no more beep. Good!In terms of usage, the fan has been on all day every day (turned off at night) for over 2 weeks now, and cannot be happier with the results. There is some "running noise", but no wobble and constant, solid performance.

We had to buy this one because of low ceiling in my bedroom basement and wow, did we purchase the perfect one. It’s sleek, beautiful, modern, and who complained aboyt the noise level??? It’s zero, niet, nada, no noise. It’s hanging almost in our face and at night when I wake up I think it stoped by itself because there is no noise…..but the draft remindes me it’s still On. :-)First time we have a ceiling fan with a remote control and man, it’s great. Of course I won’t depend on the light to be my main light source because it’s a touch not strong enough but really, I’m just trying to find a flaw and not successfully. Worth thr money. Love it.

It is a nice color, good size and easy to install. A feature that is not mentioned is the feedback "beeps" on the fan for when the remote is used at each function, this can be turned off as well. Noise level of the motor itself at the slowest speed has a slight hum, otherwise a good unit.

I installed this fan on Easter weekend and we are now approaching Christmas. My main concern in choosing a fan was the potential noise because I prefer a silent room to sleep in. This fan is great. There is obviously air noise if it's turned up high, but lowering it at night keeps the air moving enough to feel it and reduces the noise significantly. Every now and then there is a clicking that happens that is caused from the wires for the light hitting the blades. I just need to open it up and secure them out of the way which I haven't done. The light isn't super bright so beware if you are wanting that. I am a little concerned about how to replace the donut looking light bulb when it's time, but not enough to research it yet. The installation was easy peasy once I replaced the electrical box to be fan supported (replacing the box is a different story.....check into that before you tear things apart!) I would recommend this fan to anyone!

The fan is impressive, and as a Mechanical Engineeer wants to provide my version on the pros and cons. The pros:- The reliable, highly respected by customers, the HUNTER brand;- Low profile, modern and sleek design by the US engineers (pros), but manufactured in China (cons);- Price is attractive (I bought by promotion, the Amazon adjusted all my three purshased fans to the promotion price), the competitors are more expensive;- Reversible rotation by pressing the button (more than 3s on fan logo) on the remote control;- Reversible blades. One colour from the one side of the blades and another colour (depends on model) from the backside of blades;- Three speeds, easily changeable by the remote control;- The remote control isn't bulky and have the right small size;- The beep option (can be swithched off) can be helpful for seniors to confirm switch off/on fan/light, reduce&increase speeds/reverse rotation etc.;- The LED lamp is amazing, it was designed specifically by the Hunter engineers. As a result it's a high quality, fits very well, and it's dimmable. But in the case of replacement, you have to buy/find from the Hunter company (cons);- The light/fan can be switched on/off from your wall switch/or your remote control;- Th fan is silent, no any noise at third speed;- Easy installation, easy manual (as per my point of view). The cons:- The packing is the biggest issue. during the shipping the rotation drum/electric motor wasn't properly fixed/packed. As a result of shaking unproper shippment, the rotation drum/electric motor are getting missligned (I think bearing missalignment). Many customers are considering mistakenly this particular issue as a wobbling (it a cause of the main issue). The balance kit can't fix this problem and it can be dangerous due a motor overheating, increasing wobbling effect and potential crush, fire etc. Also, I believe the extra inspection in the Chinese factory is required to check a proper allignment/rotations before the shipments;- Three speeds are very good, but I want to see the same model with more speeds;- As I mentioned, this fan is manufactured in China, and my recomendations to check everything very carefully before installation;- In the case of LED lamp malfunction/replacement, you have to buy it from the Hunter Company. So, overall my rating on this fan is 4.7-4.8 out of 5. Recommend it.
