I was a bit skeptical but it's both mist friendly and doesn't rust your cast iron! No question it was providing lubrication. End mill starts squeaking, turn up the mist and the squeak goes away. Afterwards it was mostly dry to the touch and only slightly warm despite being an aggressive cut.
