Great quality for low powered rifle. May work with others but tested on a 22 and airsoft.

These rifle scope rings are solid! They have a couple of nice features. The double Allen screws on each side of the top half of the rings help to secure the scope. The thin pads on the lower half of the inside of the scope rings help stabilize the scope. The locking tab on the underside of the rings helps ensure that the rings don’t move in the picatinny railOne thing I really liked was the bolt that tightens down the ring on the rail period. It is a hex bolt. with a screwdriver slot. So, either a screwdriver or, better, a hex driver to tight it.One thing that I thought was rather strange was that the hex nut does not touch a flat surface on the ring. Where it touches the ring to tighten down, there is an indentation in that area of the ring. Between the hex nut and the ring there is a washer. It’s not a solid washer. It’s the kind with little fingers on the inside of the washer. When the hex nut compresses against the rings, those finger fold in a bit and tighten down on the ring. This is the only situation I’ve seen of the several rings sets I have that use a washer and are not flat against the ring. I took a couple of photos, one before I tightened the hex bolt, and one after. You can see in the second photo that the washer has some irregular deformation. It may not be the prettiest method but the washer does seem to serve as a lock washer. My application was not a difficult one: mounting a scope on a PCP with very little recoil.

I've only mocked these up and checked fit with my scope. It has a 50mm objective and these aren't quite high enough to clear.I like that this set included an extra hex bolt for the rings. It's not beyond me to fat finger fumble one of these and spend 30 minutes looking for it ... or lose it all together.I'm mixed on the screw driver nut to affix this to the rail. It's a little big and tacky to look at and it requires I use a tool not provided to install. However, I do like the ability to tighten / remove in the field without a set of Allen wrenches, using a tool (standard screwdriver) I always carry on me (on my multitool). The setup also allows using a nut driver or socket set to mount these. The hex bolts that clamp the two halves together came torqued extremely tightly out of the box. I was able to get them undone, but it took more effort than I've ever needed on scope rings before. As it was, the wrench provided was a little snug and I wasn't sure it was fully seated, so I was concerned it was going to slip out under all the pressure and round off the wrench or the inside of the bolt. It didn't and I got them separated, but it made me think about something that should normally be easy.

Originally I gave these rings a five star rating.Update. I used these mounts to attach a scope in early March 2024. Shot the rifle and sighted it in without issue. Fast forward to October 2024. Retrieved my rifle from my gun safe and went out to shoot once more before deer season. First shot, both rings failed. Ring caps sheared on one side. I have used many Monstrum scope rings before. This was my first use of the pro series. They are definitely not desirable. I feel the aluminum they are using is too brittle and will not hold up to recoil. Gun was a 257 Magnum shooting a 110 grain bullet. I would definitely not buy these rings again.

Nice looking, cleanly machined mounts..They are very low profile rings...Too low for my tastes when tested on a variety of rifles....I have not yet tried them on the Ruger American .308 yet, but it's deer season so I don't want to make any adjustments to the current scope setup at this point....They do however firmly hold a scope in place though and is quality machined.I certainly won't remove any stars on this due to my own personal scope mount preferences...It is a great set of rings.....

Well made pair of 30mm Picatinny Rail low profile scope mounts. I have paid a lot more for this type of mount that weren't made any better than these. The machining is really good. The surface finish is smooth and there are no marks of any kind on the mounts. As shown in the close up photo there is a piece of cushioning tape inside the rings to keep from scratching the scope barrel. The ring fit perfectly to (3) 30mm scopes that I tried them on. Not to snug and not loose. The distance from the bottom of the ring to the top of the rail slot is .30" or roughly 8mm.I did have two issues which caused me to give these rings 4 stars instead of 5:1. The rings use a stud and nut to tighten the ring to the rail. The surface where the nut contacts the ring base is not flat. It is curved and has a counterbore but the nut is slightly larger than the counterbore so it doesn't sit flat. Then they put a small lock washer between the nut and the base. This lock washer is shown in the photo. It gets deformed when you tighten the nut. IMHO it would be better to have a spot face on the base for the nut to seat against rather than the current setup. The bases stay tight to the rail with the current setup but It could be done better2. The 4 threaded holes that are used to hold the ring halves together are not drilled thru which I prefer. This means that they have to use a bottoming tape to thread the holes rather than a thru tap. Of the 8 holes in the two rings 2 of them are not tapped deep enough to allow complete tightening of the small machine screws WHEN NOT MOUNTED TO A SCOPE. This is a non issue when mounting the rings to a scope as the two halves of the rings are separated approximately a 1/16th of an inch which allows all of the machine screws to be fully seated and tightened. Just be careful if you are trying to tighten the screws with the rings not installed on a scope.
