Dislike having to use the old bolts. Need to check items before shipping. Would have been a problem if the old bolts were missing!!!

Does not fit, due to size is too big. Larger than existing part. Part requirement is smaller, may be for a Werner Ladder.

I had a ladder that I just bought for really cheap and all I need was a replacement piece for this and this worked really well. I just removed the old one and put the new one on and made sure that I got the spring set properly so that it would react the way it needed to and it did the job.

My 32’ aluminum ladder is about 15 years old and has been exposed to the elements many of those years. The bolts rusted over time so the hooks were not able to move. They were also showing signs of corrosion so to play it safe, I just got new parts. Easy install. Took all of 5 minutes to switch things out and I’m up and running.
