Follow the directions and make sure not to cut the strap keeping the shock compressed until it’s installed!! Works very well!

Did not fit my span as it came out of the packaging. Had to use ratchet tie-downs to compress to proper length. However, works perfect and saved me hundreds and several hours on installing a new set of stairs.

I would like to share my research to help other homeowners find the right Louisville Attic Ladder parts. Gas Cylinder PK1062 fits Attic Ladder Models: WA2210L, WA2211L, AA2210I, AA2510I, AA2210R5, AA2510R5, AL2211R5, AL2511R5.Basically if you have a heavier Louisville or Century attic ladder made out of wood or aluminum and have insulated doors then PK1062 is the right choice. PK802 Gas Cylinder is for the lighter models. Hope this helps!
