Fun shape, brilliant colors, and useful in multiple ways. I ordered these silicon pads because I need something to open jars. These work pretty well for that, but it's still a little more difficult than I anticipated. They work well as a pad for a hot utensil, even though they are thin. I believe they are durable and will last a long time.

The most important quality of a rubber jar gripper is that using it allows you to open a stubborn lid--and these do that nicely. An additional plus for these is the hole on the edge of each gripper in case you want to hang them on a hook rather than using a magnet to secure to your refrigerator. I like the vibrant colors.
