I bought three and they all did they same thing turned on ran for a few seconds then just reading zero never to work again. I thought maybe I just got a bad one but 3 out of three did the same. I’m installing on a small block Chevy in case yall are wondering application and I did select the correct number of cylinders.

This has been an excellent replacement tachometer for my project car! My old unit failed, and this one has been working great so far. It was relatively simple to install since the old one was similar in size and wiring. I love the look and design of the unit, and the blue illumination setting looks cool and matches my other gauges pretty well. It seems to be accurate in its readings to date. Only time will tell how long it will last, but for now I am happy with this product and therefore give it the top five star rating.

While I really like the look of this tach, it stopped counting above zero in less than 10 seconds. I guess I should have expected it considering the plug for the tach wire wouldn’t even clear the bottom of the case. I had to carefully cut a little off the plastic case just to get it to plug in.After wiring it, I started the truck, saw the RPM climb, and before I could even take a picture, it started showing zero. I triple checked the connections and still couldn’t get it to show any RPM.

This is an excellent gauge and it looks great.It does include a stand for surface mounting, or it can be mounted in the dash.Wiring is straightforward like any other tachometer. Instructions aren't the best.There are TWO White wires on the back of the gauge. The one that is alone and has a red plug is the Tach Signal. The one bundled with the other wires is a 12V key-on power.It has a BEEP chime every time time you turn the key on, I could do without that. It is not disabled when the Warning beeper is disabled (by holding the V button for 3 seconds)Overall, I like it because it looks modern. My engine will only see about 5000 rpm so 11000 rpm is more than I will ever need.

Pic is engine running. It’s expensive crap. Lasted about 5 minutes and replaced with another one…same issue. Cant contact the company on the website…server down. And Amazon can’t help other than getting your money back. Don’t buy.
