I love my new Norpro scissor. So easy to use and maneuver, cuts right through seafood, cuts through the hard shell of a lobster. My thumb and fingers fit perfectly in the openings, easily cuts through metal and wire. I wouldn’t soak in water, will rust, I wash immediately and dry my seafood scissor immediately. So Happy with my purchase, finally a scissor for my seafood that cuts!

These are very sturdy scissors that I use in the kitchen for almost everything. Their size makes them easy to handle. I originally got them for my husband who is the self-appointed crab sheller. They cut through crab shells fine, but being a creature of habit, he would rather use the tines of a fork to split them open. (Sigh.)

We can eat more crab, yay! Took this to our fav crab restaurant and made quick work of all kinds of crab legs. Totally invaluable to seafood lovers. I bought another one for a friend of mine who loves seafood. It's great because your food doesn't go completely cold with the time it usually takes to struggle with crab legs. You get more crab out, so it makes it extremely cost effective.

These scissors do not work for me as a crab cut. They might be useful for something else in the kitchen.

Was given one of these to use for lobster this past summer and was amazed. All those years living in Maine and twisting, pulling and pushing to get the meat out of the lobster.... These cut through the shell almost like paper. Retrieved the meat in chunks without the shredding that often happens when using picks and so much easier and less messy. I just ordered more to give as gifts.
