As a landlord with several properties that have AC units, I've found that keeping cartridges on hand is a great time and money saver. I used to pay $75 each time a professional AC technician came to unclog the unit's drains because they were dripping water. Now that I'm using this method, I can save money by handling it myself as a hands-on landlord. With one cartridge, I unclogged three units; it all depends on how badly they are clogged. I also recommend watching some YouTube videos that are 2-3 minute clips. It's very easy and can save you money.

Bought these to clean out the HVAC Condensate lines twice a year - minimal expense to save the $180 professional charge for doing a 5 minute task. Got the larger size to cover my own inefficiencies at doing the job.
