I have been purging my kitchen of plastic utensils and also donating kitchen items to a local nonprofit. These will not be kept at my house. The listing and photos shows a great little set. The handles are long and my first thought was that this set could be used on a grill. There are loops on the ends of the handles to hang them by. They are dishwasher safe. The design and the silver coloring looks classy enough for a modern kitchen. However, what I received was a lightweight set that is not finished very well. The handles are obviously hollow; there are areas on both spatulas that can scratch either human skin or pots and pans. They are supposedly made of stainless steel but this has to be the thinnest, most lightweight stainless steel I've ever felt.I don't want to have to spend hours sanding/finishing off these spatulas, nor watch closely every time I use them to prevent injuries or permanent marks on my pans. On the other hand, the set was only $6. Perhaps they would work best on an outdoor grill.

As others have mentioned, I'm disappointed in the quality of these spatulas. They are made of a very thin stainless steel, and the edges are rough and sharp. The edges need sanded, but they would still be kind of sharp due to how thin the stamped metal is. I am always concerned about water getting trapped and growing mold in any of our dishes, cups, lids, straws, cutlery, etc, and it definitely will be trapped in the handles of these spatulas. There is no way to get the water out or clean inside the handles. Also, they do not have much of an angle which sometimes makes it a little awkward to get underneath what you're trying to flip. These spatulas are strong enough for flipping burgers, but only in pans that I'm not worried about scratching, and I'll have to be careful when washing them by hand.

We've slowly been eliminating the plastic we use for food preparation in our house, so I was glad to see this pair of stainless steel spatulas pop up in my Amazon feedThey arrived very quickly and they look just like their picture in the listing. Unfortunately, the ones I got weren't finished particularly well and they're so thin and lightweight that I wonder if they'll be able to withstand the banging around that they'll experience during regular use and cleaning. They're both rough on the back edges, and one of them arrived with a sharp burr on the front edge that can cut you, and will likely scratch my pans if I don't sand it off.The handles are very light and hollow, they don't feel substantial at all. And because the hollow handles aren't well sealed (there's some kind of seal there but I can see a gap, and a quick test in my sink shows that water does get in there) so I'm concerned that moisture will accumulate and cause mold/mildew to grow inside the handles. I don't see how I can access the insides of the handles to keep them clean, and they'll get wet every time we wash them.Bottom line, I can make them work after a little sanding to remove the rough edges, but I probably won't bother given my concerns about the poorly sealed hollow handles. I may repurpose them to remove stuck prints from the heatbed on my 3D printer.

I ordered 2 sets of these. They are super sturdy and easy to clean. Just what I needed.

These are very nice spatulas, and they work fairly well. But the narrow part of the shaft has sharp pieces. I like to hold a little bit closer to the top part for better control, but I ended up cutting my finger (not awfully--more like a paper cut than anything serious). But as long as I keep my hand on the handle itself, it's fine.I was a little worried when the listing said "flexible," because I don't usually like it to be too flexible, but it ending up being the perfect flexibility too.

Nowhere has the adage ‘you get what you pay for’ seemed more appropriate than with this two-pack spatula set. Although both spatulas are attractive in their simplicity, they are very, very thin. Functionally, they perform as expected. No complaints there. I do wonder how they will hold up under repeat usage. I’d think maybe a best use case for these spatulas might be for camping trips. They are definitely lightweight—perfect for backpacking or portaging--and if they were damaged, you wouldn’t worry about the replacement cost at all. To be honest, if the price for these spatulas was any higher, I definitely would have down-graded their score. However, given the absolutely ridiculous low price, I’ll give them their due. The quality of these spatulas seems very appropriate for their cost. If you’re looking for a set of spatulas that are low on weight and price, look no further!

I ordered these after mine broke and I thought any old thing would do. However, I really don't like these spatulas. The end of the non-slotted one has a little lip on it that catches eggs and breaks the yolk every time. In addition, the back of the spatulas have these metal edges that hurt my hand every single time I pick up the spatula and don't have all my hand on the handle. They're lightweight and seem otherwise to be fine. They hold up well in the dishwasher and don't stain or tarnish. I just can't use them.PROS: lightweight; wash well in dishwasher; reasonable priceCONS: metal edges of turner break eggs; metal edges of handle hurt hand
