Works well, lots of extras that you need to weld. The cord is a little thin but it worked out ok.

Bought this to repair an old plastic dash for an early 70s car. Worked really well and was able to re-enforce the broken areas with the screen that comes with it. I found it easiest to tack weld each break first all along the Crack on both sides, then tack weld the screen on one side, then press against the screen with the heat until it starts to recess, then repeat until the whole screen is recessed in. Lastly, I fill the area with the melted plastic rod and done. Sand the excess off with a dremel and touch up as needed. Worked really well.

Works good. Gets hot pretty quick. Nice to have a low and high switch. Makes it easier when doing thin and thick material. Make sure to clean after use.
