It does work. You can position it exactly as needed.But, the gauges are super bouncy I guess. They don't stay still. You can be driving down the road and the little bumps register like you're rock crawling.It works if you're stationary, and want a reading, but if you're expecting something that's functional while actually in use, consider an alternate option.

I put this on my tractor and find that it is hard to read because it is not at eye level. Bounces around a lot when in motion but I expected that from other reviews. But it is hard to read when the tractor is facing down a steep hill. Basically, it is too small. Use an inclinometer that uses a tube with a bubble or weight.
