Purchased for my partner so this is a second hand review, but they work well! Decent price for a base stand as most will either cost you a pretty penny OR require you to drill holes in the wall. We live in an apartment, so neither of those are an option. The bottom bases are a double paned glass, which sounds fragile but honestly.. I'm a clumsy guy and have dropped a handful of items (pens, change, cups, ferret dish, wallet, phone, keys, etc) on them, as well as stepped on them a few times, and they haven't so much as cracked. They fit perfectly in the corners, and screw into the bottom of the little thingies perfectly. They also come apart rather easily when you need them to, so they're easy to store if you don't want them up all the time. We also haven't had any issues with them falling or tipping down. Overall great!

I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews. I got this to replace the tripods I was using for my lighthouses aftmer my roomba knocked over the other ones and caused parts to break on them. They are a touch wobbly and if you are in an apartment that shakes when you walk through, yeah, it might cause a problem, but if you have a good solid ground floor situation it should be no worries at all. The base is heavy and so the roomba doesn't budge it. The instructions are minimal, but there really isn't anything at all to put this thing together, most of the parts just screw into each other and they are numbered, like, don't know why the one guy was confused. Overall this is great for my apartment VR situation.

Great mounting solution if you can't drill into your walls.

Unable to secure one of the nuts at the bottom of the base (really loose), i assume the parts a poorly made hence these kinda issues. 1 Star because i got a none working setup at home, dunno if iam able to get spare parts, but waited a long time for the delivery.

Seller did not package installation hardware for second stand. Lucky for me I only really needed one stand for the far side of my office. However I would still like to get the other lighthouse off of my bookcase and into the corner to optimize my play space.Build quality of the one stand I could assemble isn't terrible but isn't great, the base looks nice, its a little crooked but that might be my floors, the hardware is a little poorly machined but other than mild annoyance I didn't really have an issue with it (other than the missing hardware...).The assembly instructions are terrible but if you have put together anything from legos to ikea it isn't really that hard to assemble without them. It took maybe 5 minutes for the one.I contacted the manufacturer on their website I will update if they respond.

One of the jam nut is poorly machined, the threads are too loose and can't even screw on a secure fit.Overall quality of the base is decent for it's price, as long you as you have solid flooring that doesn't vibrate when you walk around. The pole wobbles a lot if there's vibration on the floor, which needless to say it's really bad for the base station tracking.Because the product came "faulty", I can only use 1 base out of 2 due to cheaply manufactured parts, this will be a 1 star.

I was very skeptical at first for I did not want to spend so much money on a stand. I am very glad I did, the stand looks elegantly in the room and it covers very little space. The assembly was easy and the stand is height adjustable, also the head can be moved and angled to where ever you want them too. I did not want to put holes into my wall or loose space in the room from a tripod stand. Glad I bought this, it looks nice, steardy and does the job well.

I jumped into the VR craze and didn't want to mount my base stations to the wall, so I started looking for stands. These were just about the only stands that were available pretty quickly, so despite the mixed reviews I went with them. I've now been using them for a few months and feel that I can adequately review them.BUILD QUALITY:These are definitely pretty cheap stands. Assembly is easy enough though, as others have mentioned, the instructions are pretty poor. It took me about 20 minutes to put the two stands together. The base itself is pretty solid, but the stand is very lightweight and cheap. This definitely needed some heavier material - and maybe a broader stand would have been helpful - because any slight movement will cause the stand to sway quite a bit. In my case this isn't an issue since I have carpeted floors and won't get near the stands in my play area, but I can definitely see this being an issue with hardwood floors if you get close to the base stations during play. The ball-and-socket mount is also pretty janky and doesn't feel particularly secure though I haven't had any issues with the base stations slowly sagging with time. I do wish there was some cable management included with the stands... I ultimately just used some black zip ties to keep everything flush, but since these are advertised as base station stands, it would've been nice to include a couple of small clips to keep everything neat. Overall, 3/5.USE:Despite my complaints about the build quality, I haven't had any issues with the stands since I put them together. The ball-and-socket mechanism, while cheap, has held its position well so far. Nothing has randomly fell apart or come crashing down. I do wish they were a bit taller - one more pole for the stand would've been nice - though this just would've made it more unstable and likely more prone to "swaying" with any kind of movement. Since I haven't had any issues with them, 5/5.OVERALL:Given the limited options available for what I was looking for - namely, two matching stands to hold up my base stations with a small footprint so that they can be tucked away in the corners of the room - these do the job. They're definitely cheap, and I wouldn't recommend these if you're planning to use them on hardwood floors or stomp around when you're playing as I don't think these would remain perfectly still with the vibrations that would occur in the floor, but for a carpeted floor not immediately near the play area, I haven't had any issues with them. The quality of the materials could definitely use some improvement, especially for the price, as well as making the assembly instructions more clear.

Overall I am pleased with the way they look and function. The stands are fairly tall and could be shortened by not installing all of the pole pieces. The bottom piece does have an adjustable collar but only allowing the pole above it to go down or up one segment. The bottom plate is a solid piece of tempered glass and heavy enough that it doesn't feel flimsy. My goal was not having wire running down my walls and to be able to move the camera's at will which they met.If you are looking for stands and not really wanting the tripod style lighting stands these should work. Assembling them is straight forward if you have ever assembled a pole style lamp and all of the pieces are numbered with the parts and spanner tool in sealed plastic.
