I plan on installing this in my smoker. Realistically, +/- 10℉ (or ℃ for that matter) is sufficient, and this far exceeds that. With my very inexpensive thermocouple reader, I got measurements within 1℉ (see photos) - which exceeded my expectations. Granted, I tested it near room temperature - not at the temperatures it'll serve in, so we'll see if that accuracy holds up across its range.
