I feel that it could have some mounting holes for brackets at the rear of the shelf. I drilled my own and mounted brackets at the rear which makes the shelf significantly stronger and strengthens the rack as well.

I ordered a second StarTech shelf and they are both very high quality and sturdy. Spend the extra money and get good merchandise. Note: The enclosed screws are for industrial racks and are too big for typical 19 inch audio racks.

This shelf provides a great way to support my unrackable network equipment. It is sturdy and can be flipped to get a little ledge so things don't slip off.Good product, does what it is supposed to do.

I usually purchase just some cheapy shelf, but this shelf is quality. Built very well. This works as expected and will handle any (practical) load you could put on it.

棚板の両サイドに壁があるので横にずれても落ちずに済みます。当初はRTX1100とRTX32を横並べにしてその上にCisco C841Mを載せておこうと思っていましたが、残念ながらRTXは横並びぎりぎりできませんでした。ただそれ専用の製品ではないので全然問題はないです。使い勝手は悪くないと思います。

I wanted a shelf for cables and miscellaneous storage in the rack of my music studio. I have a standard 19 inch rack which I have mounted my Behringer ARP 2600. I use a lot of patch cables with it so I wanted something to keep them handy and nearby. I looked at several options and quite honestly most were ridiculously price. This one by StarTech is perfect. It is solid, well built, plenty deep for extra storage and a decent price. For my needs I highly recommend it.

Not a lot to review about since it's a steel shelf but it is made well and it works great. Holes are lined up, shelf is nice and sturdy and the venting is great. Definitely recommend.
