Removal

  • Combine the center screw and the puller body, with both hex ends in the same direction
  • Fit the center screw button, or one of the puller pin/screw installer (if required) in to the open end of center screw
  • Set the larger flange puller body into the pulley hub
  • Place two halves of the jaw & sleeve assembly around the hub and the flange. Slide in the sleeve around two halves to secure its position.
  • Use your wrench to hold the puller body steady while turning the center screw inward by electrical drill.

Installation

  • Lubricate the center screw. Thread the required puller pin/screw installer into the center screw.
  • Combine the center screw and the puller body, with both hex ends in the same direction.
  • Slide the bearing and washer over the puller body.
  • Thread the assemply into the end of the pulley shaft, with bearing against the pulley face. Tighten the center screw to finish installation.

Used for a 98 ford expedition 5.4 2v power steering pump had to swap pulley was able to remove a 30 year old pulley off in the good old Sc I’ve used they before when working with ford Modular’s make sure to use the silver stud to extract and for installation use the see pictures make sure bearing toward nut and free spin of bearing toward the item you removing with thrust washer toward part .!!!!even though I think it should be flipped where thrust washer first and then bearing free spin toward nut but it only work if you had another thrust washer so each side of bearing gets a thrust washer this tool would be perfect
