It came well packaged and seems to include all the shown parts. However, when I tried to thread the main bolt into the body (sorry, I don't know the terms for these parts on a fan pull tool), it only went in a fe inches and refused to go further. At first, I thought maybe I had cross-threaded it, but since I had been very gentle, I just took it out and re-threaded it. This had the same result. I did the same hting again even more carefully, but no luck. I then took a look and saw a big burr on the bot, so thought maybe I coud just try to power through it (with hand torque - no tools.) This didn't work, so I set it aside anddidn't use it. I am guessing I might be able to buy a nut from a hardware store and use some wrenches to try to see if it will fix it or maybe just buy a standard bolt with the same thread. So far, I haven't went down that route though.

Even with lots of pb blaster my condenser fan won't budge. This tool is pretty useless and frustrating to use.

Used it 2 times and stripped the threads out. A POS China tool.

The screw shaft bent during extraction. Then it jumped threads and it very difficult to use now.

I have the traditional wheel pullers of various sizes. They work great for many things. However, this is a different take on the same problem. This approach provides more flexibility for a much broader size and shape of hubs to be pulled off of shafts.and also works for pulling bearings out of a casing and other odds and ends where you need precise pulling power. The extra-long threaded pressure shaft adds a lot of latitude and flexibility. This is a definite go-to puller for my shop. Its casting is solid, durable, and even looks nice.I do wish it came with a small zipper case to hold all the parts together.Another trick I found is if the 'C' bars slip off of the 'hub' just put a collar on them. I made my own collar with stiff wire so the 'C' bars could not move to the outside. This really worked well. This is a great tool kit for a shop that needs to remove items from shafts or from casings.

I like that this pulled has a few different affixing options. I was able to use the hooks to get under a stubborn blower fan cage to pop it off of the shaft.
