I loved the concept of the integrated clicker and whistle. This items works as expected, but other than the clicker, I'm not sure how this would deviate from a traditional whistle. For one of my dogs, it works great. He drops everything and pays attention immediately. My other dog is more resistant to it, but I have found that it helps. It's possible that a higher frequency whistle would be more effectively, but overall I think it's good for the price

Possibly helpful for personal use with your own pet as a basic obedience tool. Amounts to no more than a simple whistle, a stupid clicker, and a cord that you attach.You can train puppies/dogs with the clicker, and the whistle possibly. However, it DOES take training and effort on your part.Personally feel that dogs are easily confused by this method until they become acquainted with what is expected of them, so again, there's training involved. You could also simply save your money and teach them "No", "Stop", "Come", etc. I guess it's what you want to do. A choker chain and leash will accomplish the same thing.You do get two of each, but still, a steep price, in my opinion.We use the whistle/clicker on our boat, and the cord for something else.

This whistle is more like a playground whistle; it doesn't have that high pitched sound only dogs can hear. However my dogs definitely respond to it, and it helps to correct their behavior!!!

Well made, sturdy whistle. Extremely ear-piercing sound so I only use it when the dogs are misbehaving and won't listen to words. WOW! It has corrected excessive barking in my senior dog after only 2 times. I had tried EVERYTHING else to no avail. I also love that there are 2 of them so I have one for home and one for walks. The clicker works well, if you are click training it's very convenient to have both whistle and clicker in one unit. The cord is also a great addition for added convenience and to keep it handy or even storage purposes.

Difficult to get the clickers to use and the amount of effort it takes to get them to work defeats the point for training. Whistles work but not the best whistle sound out there.

Whistles didn’t work. I returned and received full refund. I recommend to buy more expensive ones and get a good one. Also buy where you can try. Don’t buy from Amazon because you don’t know how cheaply done it is until you receive it.

Works great for our lab mix we are working on a recall that gets his attention and the whistle sure does. The clicker is good quality also better then the petsmart training one they gave us.
