This Honda has been in the garage for a few years, and it was time to change cable for throttle. Easy to do. quick exchange of cable and off to mow.

Description states that this cable is compatible with the Honda HR214 push mower. The cable that I received was 8 inches too short for the HR214. It is not compatible with the HR214.

Installed the cable and it was a perfect fit. It will be interesting to see if it last the 30 plus years the original did.

This fit my Honda HR 214 mower perfectly. I can tell by the quality though that I don’t expect a long lifespan out of it but I’m sure it will last as long as the mower will. If you’re looking for high-quality, you need to go with a Honda original part.
