I've been dreaming of this product for a long time. Before the Nano 2 came out I was figuring out the best way to have a focus handle with the previous nano, I felt none of the options were good enough. Finally, this product came and I was able to purchase it and it's been amazing. I love doing shoulder operation and focus at the same time. Another great thing is to pull focus in the wheel while its attached to the handle, is much more comfortable, and it feels right.The only downside, as many have pointed out across all platforms, is the screen, yes it's small, you have to set it up before rigging it to anything else because you won't be able to see it from any other angle other than straight up front and close

This has a terrilbe interface. Instruction are poorly written. They didn't even spell check it. Setup failed multipe times. Has you navigate via blinking lights to connect to motor. It worked once or twice then not clear how to connect to handwheel or motor. Very frustrating. One of the worst interfaces I have seen in a while. On the wheel even further issues...seems like it lets you install software for the wrong handwheel. My hand hit the software for the M instead of the S. There shouldn't be a selection option, it should detect device or go to a particular channel.

The Nucleus Nano II Control Handle has truly transformed my Nano 2 kit into a professional setup. It's super user-friendly and incredibly reliable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their gear!

I find it really crappy that it’s not very clear you need a separate battery that is not included. Aside from that it lists that both npf550 and 570 batteries are compatible so I order the npf570 only for it not to fit, spent 2 hours trying to remove these small screws in the handle that were seeming to make it catch but because of how tucked in they are it was impossible to do now I have to buy another battery

I like the product. It’s very solid and the roller is very smooth. The only downside for me is the menu screen which is very small and hard to read. You need to have 20/20 eyesight on both eyes to be able to navigate through it. My eye sights are pretty good but I had to use a magnifying glass to go through the menu. I hope the company makes some improvements on the design. Right now I’m stuck with a product that is very hard for me to use.

This new design handle accommodates new features of the Nano 2 system...BUT, with a lot of issues:1. Ergonomically, it is hard to hold, hard to operate and slippery.2. The OLED screen is extremely small, difficult to read in normal light and impossible to read in broad daylight.3. Accessing the A/B points and motor calibration features requires diving through menu pages in the difficult to read menu! A time killer on set compared to the dedicated A/B point + calibration button on the original Nano handle. It doesn't seem like anyone at Tilta tried to use the menu in daylight, or consider using one of the front buttons for A/B points and motor calibration.4. Pairing the handle and doing software updates is challenging on this handle. Expect to search through YouTube videos for assistance. Being a wireless unit, this would benefit greatly from a phone app.While I applaud Tilta for the greatly improved Nano 2 motors and hand wheel control unit, this new handle is an epic design fail. I ONLY use it to recharge the control wheel unit, and rely on the original hand grip for A/B and motor calibration. I also wasted money on the run/stop cable to enable recording on my S1H...it never worked with this handle.
