I enjoy Shabu shabu and hot pot meals since your entree consists of boiled meats, seafood, vegetables and noodles along with dipping sauces. As the meat is sliced very thin, it cooks quickly and you don't eat a lot even with many slices. It is a perfect dish on cold autumn, winter and spring days. At least perfect except that it normally costs more per pound to purchase thinly sliced meat products than the bulk meat. With this slicer from Toogood, I can enjoy these meals at home more often by slicing the meat myself. I find that it is a bit easier to slice meat if it is partially frozen. The slicer may not help with the cost of the other items, but there are significant savings from our meat slices.

a little loud, and a little slower than you think but for an at home slicer this is PERFECTit is easy to clean and a great little device.strangely it is the most convenient thing! it is so much fun to have around the house!
