When putting new connectors it's important to tint the wire with solder before you crimp them on the wire otherwise it will just smash the braided strands and it will slip off easy when you solder then it's called running the wire makes it thick so when crimped it has something to bite down on so. There much better connection the problem I have is I forget to put the shrink tubing on the wire before I crimp them on then I have to do it over again well these have it on the ends so when your done just hit them with a heat gun if you have one I have used lighters when I had no choice it works it just don't look that good they only need a little beat maby 175 F and they will shrink just be carfull not to burn holes in them I highly recommend this kind over the regular crimp ins that you need shrink tubing

Crimped a couple just for fun so far and they held on the wires well and snap together just fine. i'll be using some of these next time i need to do any wiring
