Very disappointing. We got the 30lb vest as an upgrade for a 15lb vest from another manufacturer. I really like that other vest and was expecting something similar. I mean, how different can these sand-filled weighted vest be? A lot, actually.I was expecting a vest that would fit a normal human being. One that would sit snug and close on the torso, keeping the weight in place tight to the body. Ya know, so you can walk and run and jump in it, right? And, not to put too fine a point on it, I had these expectations because I have another vest that does exactly those things. This thing though? I think that if I was about 200 hundred pounds of flab heavier, then it might be a good fit. Since I'm not, it hangs off me like a five year old wearing their dad's coat. It swings and sways at my hips, and that's with the straps as tight as they'll go. And it's not like I'm teeny tiny or anything, just a normal-sized human.Just as bad as the ill-fitting nature of this thing is the way the sand collects at the bottom, bunching up right around my hips and waist in exactly the way I don't want it to. Here's what they claim: "Our vest is meticulously filled with iron sand for an even weight distribution" but in my experience that is absolutely false. The shoulder straps empty out and the lowest points fill up and it's just a hot mess. Now, maybe the lighter weights don't suffer from these issues as badly. If you're feeling adventurous you're welcome to experiment. In fact, you're welcome to have my 30lb version because I have no use for it.

This review is for the 20 lb vest.I really like this vest and I use it frequently. It is the only weighted vest I have owned, and it allows me to work out and train in all new ways. It is comfortable to wear, and the weight is nicely distributed across the shoulder straps and back plate. The lead sand can move a bit, which makes the vest more comfortable, but you don't feel it shifting around a lot as you train. I do core exercises wearing the vest, and I have also added it to some balance and flexibility training I do. The reason I took a star off of this review is that I heard a seam ripping when I picked up the vest by one shoulder strap on the first day I had it. 20 lbs of shifting weight in a stretchy and flexible fabric is asking a lot of the stitching, so I just understand that I have to carry this vest with two hands or kind of wad it up and hold it on one hand. But I don't think this would last very long if you made a habit of picking it up by one shoulder strap. I guess that makes this a 4 star review, but if you are careful with how you handle it, this is a great product.Adding a weighted vest like this (maybe a lighter one to start with) to your body weight resistance or even cardio training program can help turbo charge your results. And if you do agility drills wearing the vest and then take it off, you feel like Superman.

Wish I had one of these sooner, now I need one in every weight variety. The lighter ones are better for running because joints and impact, but the heavier like 25 lb vest is amazing for incline walking/hiking/stair stepper/weight training. It’s adjustable, good quality material, and fits comfy. This is worn by my 7 year old son right up to me, it is getting a lot of use, everyone is excited to see different results. It definitely works muscles harder/ignites your stomach while cardio/all around awesome to have if your looking to up any of your fitness routines. Gosh you could put this on just doing household chores!!! Absolutely recommend!!
