I don't know how you'd pull a bearing in an axle without a kit like this.You can't get up behind it...I suppose you could figure out a way to drive it out if you took your rear end completely apart and had a really long piece of metal to poke around and knock it out...but that would be insane.INSANE.You don't want to have to work that hard...or that crazy.This is a cool kit...slide it in and expand it...then jack it on out with the slide hammer.At least I imagine that's how the Haynes manual would describe the procedure.Complete...good case...good tool.Don't pull the spider gear...it's messy.Just get this kit.GET IT?!!

I do a lot of work on motorcycles. I have bearing puller sets that only go up to 30mm which handles most wheel bearings. For larger bearings I often have had to get creative. Mind you I don't work on motors, but next time I have to pull neck bearings, I'll be glad I have this on hand!
